Clare has worked in the not-for-profit sector for over 18 years, with local, national and international charities including Prince's Trust, United Way Worldwide, LCVS, YWCA and HMS WHIMBREL Project.
Clare has worked in many different areas of fundraising development including corporate, trusts, events and major gifts.
She successfully graduated from the United Way Worldwide Global Fellows Program which is a one year development course in International Leadership.
Clare is passionate about philanthropy and believes that it's not always about the money; giving time, expertise, commitment and passion is just as important and can make a real difference.
Clare enjoys outdoor pursuits including hiking, cycling and camping. She loves to read, travel, experience new things and meet new people.
