Priya Kaur, Paralegal, discusses her Wellbeing Champion role and the support she's received at DWF.
1. Please let us know about your Wellbeing Champion role
I joined the Wellbeing Champions in January 2022. As a Wellbeing Champion, I actively look for ways to improve wellbeing at DWF. I participate in Champion meetings, and post updates and ways to get involved with the Wellbeing community on our internal communication channels.
2. What do you like the most about being a Wellbeing Champion?
I enjoy my role as a Wellbeing Champion because I want to empower colleagues, and assist in the implementation of greater strategies and support throughout DWF.
3. What wellbeing initiatives are you currently involved in and are planning in the future?
I am currently involved in trying to get the Wellbeing Champions name and goals known at DWF, raising awareness of our role and ways to get involved. In the future, I hope to write blogs for the Wellbeing space on our intranet and create a safe space for people to talk about their wellbeing.
4. How has DWF supported your wellbeing?
DWF has supported my wellbeing through flexible working and ensuring a work/life balance is in place. Further, by creating the Champions, DWF facilitates a commitment to wellbeing, working to understand the needs of colleagues and fostering a more empathetic workplace.
