She specializes in compliance and regulatory affairs, with a growing focus on governance frameworks, regulatory risk, and supporting organisations in navigating evolving legal and compliance requirements.Prior to joining the Horizon Scanning team, Urwashi worked on a Cyber project, where she gained exposure to cyber‑related compliance and regulatory considerations. This experience strengthened her understanding of risk, regulatory obligations, and the importance of compliance in technology‑driven environments.
In her current role, Urwashi contributes to monitoring and analysing regulatory developments, ensuring clarity and accuracy in compliance‑related insights. She is recognised for her diligence, analytical mindset, and structured approach to regulatory interpretation, and her work is valued for its consistency and attention to detail.
Urwashi holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws (BBALLB) degree. During her academic journey, she completed multiple internships across diverse legal domains, enabling her to explore various areas of law. This broad exposure has provided her with a strong practical foundation, enhanced her adaptability, and contributed significantly to her overall professional growth.
