Experience
Radhika has significant experience advising clients on small and high value marine and trade disputes, including claims under marine cargo policies and marine professional negligence policies. She also regularly works on subrogated recovery claims.
Radhika's background is in professional indemnity and dispute resolution. She has ample experience with mediations and arbitrations. Radhika has amassed a wealth of experience dealing with claims of an international nature.
Recent experience includes conduct of a large commodities dispute arising from the loss of cargo in Ghana that went to an 8-day arbitration hearing, as well as dealing with limitation claims pursued under the Merchant Shipping Act 1995. Radhika has guided numerous clients including insureds, brokers and insurers on the interpretation and implications of sanctions legislation in respect of Russia and other regimes.
Radhika is well known for her non-contentious work, providing detailed advice and technical analysis on legal documents and contracts of insurance including coverage and prospects advice. Radhika has undertaken full policy reviews for insurers in the London Market. She has been on a secondment in the maritime department of a well-known insurance company.
Radhika is a member of the DWF India Group, the largest India group of any law firm based outside India.
