Stewart joins DWF from PwC where for the last five years he was a partner and Global Head of Cyber Security and Data Protection Legal Services. He qualified as a Barrister in 1991 and a Solicitor in 2001.
Following a successful period in private practice at the London Bar, he joined Rowe Cohen Solicitors in 2001, to build their data protection business. After that, he joined Field Fisher Waterhouse in 2007, helping establish their data protection practice. He subsequently joined PwC in 2014 to set up their data protection business.
Stewart is a co-founder of The Cyber Security Challenge UK and is the President of The National Association of Data Protection Officers.
At DWF, Stewart will lead and grow the data protection and cyber security business globally. He will advise clients in the field of data protection and information management, including the commercial use of data, the security of data and systems, regulatory investigations and litigation arising from the misuse of data.
