Dr Michał Grabowski, a highly regarded banking and fin-tech lawyer, who specialises in banking and payment services, will support the Banking & Finance Team of DWF in Poland.
He brings a wealth of experience, including expertise on advising on obtaining permits required to operate as payment or electronic money institutions, as well as rendering payment initiation and account information services. He has advised on transactions for the establishment of banks and payment institutions as well as on the conduct surrounding activities by banks and fin-techs within the European Union.
Dr Grabowski is a member of numerous supervisory boards of companies operating in the fin-tech area. Alongside this, he is also a lecturer at Warsaw School of Economics and has written numerous articles and studies on financial markets, as well as being the author of the first commentary to the Polish Payment Services Act.
