The business's Manchester corporate team led the transaction which has established a new global group with more than 230 consultants in six offices across the world in Paris, London, Atlanta, Singapore, Melbourne and Mumbai. This new group will capitalise on the strengths of the two companies combining Argon's consulting and operations transformation expertise in France and Crimson & Co's global reach and supply chain specialism. The deal will see Yvan Salamon, founder of Argon Consulting become president of the new group.
Frank Shephard, National Head of Corporate at DWF advised on the deal alongside Darren Ormsby and James Cashman, senior associates and Francesca Kinsella and Andrew Carr, solicitors.
Frank Shephard said: "We're pleased to have advised Argon Consulting on its next stage of growth which will see the business extend its global reach and increase its offering with the expertise of Crimson & Co. The transaction is an example of our sector capabilities on a global scale."
DWF's corporate practice has advised on a number of large-scale, cross-border transactions this year, including advising management consultancy Credo Business Consulting LLP on its sale to global CEO advisory firm Teneo Holdings and advising global technical services provider Keywords Studios on the acquisitions of Paris-based La Marque Rose SARL, Asrec SAS and the subsidiary companies of holding company, Dune Media SAS, trading as Dune Sound and Around the Word.
