Now in its' fifth year, the Women in Insurance Awards is an annual celebration of the achievements of women in the general insurance market.
Sarah was awarded the prestigious 'Unsung Hero of the Year', award for her work in supporting eight locations, major DWF client relationships, award campaigns and organising key industry events. This win is particularly significant as this is the first time a PA has been shortlisted for and the recipient of an award at the Women in Insurance Awards.
Sarah was also recognised in this win for the pivotal role she plays as a role model and leader for other PAs, and how she embodies DWF's core values of 'Be Better Together' and 'Always Aim Higher'.
Lorraine Carolan, Global Head of Fraud, Credit Hire and Resolution Law said "I am delighted that Sarah has been recognised for the fantastic work that she does every day. This is a justly deserved win and a fantastic form of recognition for the many fabulous PAs that I have had the pleasure of working with, both within our clients and the industry generally. Great PAs make a fantastic contribution to a successful business and should been justly recognised".
Sarah commented on her win, "I am honoured to receive this award, especially when looking at the fantastic people that I was shortlisted with. This means so much to me to be recognised as a PA and hopefully will be a trailblazer for others to follow".
Representation is an important priority in DWF's Global Diversity & Inclusion Strategy and this win is significant for the Global Fraud, Credit Hire and Resolution Law Practice Group and wider DWF team.
