Covid-19 employment tribunal cases: Key considerations for employers

Date: 20 April 2022, 13:00 - 14:00
Location: GoToWebinar

As restrictions are eased employers are facing new challenges as we adapt to living alongside Covid-19. In this webinar we will take a look at some of the key cases which have come through the employment tribunals since the start of the pandemic; from vaccination status and reasonable management instructions, to whether fear of catching Covid-19 is a philosophical belief for discrimination law purposes.

Event Details

We have already seen a number of health and safety related cases, including whistleblowing claims, from the height of the pandemic. We predict more cases are to follow as employers grapple with lifting restrictions, including the implications of long-Covid and when an employee may be protected under the Equality Act 2010.

The focus of the webinar will be to provide a practical and commercial overview of the legal parameters and the steps employers can take to motivate, support and unify the workforce, whilst also minimising the risk of claims.
