Testimonials

"Cement Australia is extremely satisfied with the work performed by DWF (Andre Wyman) on our workers compensation claims. One particular claim stands out - DWF challenged the claimant and the claimant abandoned the claim on the day of the hearing with both parties walking away bearing their own costs. DWF have been fair, thorough and professional in all our dealings with them."

- Sophie Evans, Group General Counsel &Company Secretary

“Good Morning my name is Jess Paroz I have recently taken over HR at Ace Materials Handling Pty Ltd at which time we have been in the middle of a lengthy WorkCover situation. It was very recently concluded and my General Manager would like me to take the time to express to you how happy we were with DWF and particularly Mr Andre Wyman. It was a difficult task coming on so late in the process to take over from a HR Manager and Mr Wyman and DWF dealt with us with patient and professionalism. Thank you for your assistance in this process.”

- Jess Paroz, Communications and Human Resources Officer, ACE Materials Handling

Recent cases

A recent matter of Byron v Ace Engineering resolved two weeks before Trial, where the Plaintiff agreed to withdraw his claim against our client WorkCover Queensland, being the same offer we made to him some two years earlier. This was an unmeritorious claim where the which was bound to fail on the basis the Plaintiff would not be able to prove any breach of duty against his employer that was causally related to his injuries.
