DWF is a global legal services, legal operations and professional services business operating through a number of separately constituted and distinct legal entities. The DWF Group comprises DWF Group Limited (incorporated in England and Wales, registered number 11561594, registered office at 20 Fenchurch Street, London, EC3M 3AG) and its subsidiaries and subsidiary undertakings (as defined in the UK's Companies Act 2006, together the Group or DWF). The Legal Notices below provide you with further detail about these entities and the structure of the DWF Group.
DWF maintains professional indemnity insurance which covers members of the DWF Group from time to time, including (without limitation) DWF LLP and DWF Law LLP and each of their subsidiaries and subsidiary undertakings, for acts or omissions wherever in the world they occur. Further details can be obtained from our Chief Risk Officer, deborah.abraham@dwf.law
Where we provide legal services, our lawyers are subject to the rules of the regulatory body with whom they are admitted and the DWF Group entities providing such legal services are regulated in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which they operate.
Responsibility for the provision of services to clients is defined in engagement terms entered into between clients and the relevant DWF Group member. These engagement terms should be relied upon in determining liability for the services provided. No DWF Group member is responsible for the acts or omissions of, nor has any authority to obligate or otherwise bind, any other DWF Group member, save as otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
In countries where DWF does not have its own presence, services are provided through associations and affiliations with independent local law firms and professional services companies ('associated firms'). Our associated firms adopt various practices and procedures that are aligned with our own but they are not themselves part of the DWF Group. Associated firms are owned and managed by their respective members, partners or other principals and not by DWF. Further details regarding our associated firms are provided below.
Communications with us may be monitored or recorded to assist in the improvement of our services.
