Piotr is a Polish-qualified advocate specialising in advising defence and aerospace sector, as well as new technologies and IP matters. He supports defence and aerospace businesses with regard to procurement and offset agreements, technology transfer, IP protection, R&D issues, license agreements as well as regulatory framework, such as export control and dual-use items trade.His experience in the defence sector involves both governmental side as well as Polish and foreign businesses.
Piotr also provides legal advice to aviation sector. He deals with a wide range of cases from aircraft certification and registration, through aircraft procurement and fleet management, through regulatory framework and representation before ULC, EASA, IATA or ICAO, to aviation-related contracting (air transport services, charter and interlining agreements, air services such as firefighting or agricultural services, unconventional cargo transport, etc.)
With respect to the IP law Piotr supports clients regarding copyright and trademark-related issues in such industries as gamedev, film and music industry, digital media or fashion.
Based on his over 19 years of experience he is able to provide comprehensive, business-oriented legal advise securing the client’s legal position and addressing the client’s needs for innovative or unconventional products or instruments.
He also has extensive experience in creating legal framework for some unconventional solutions, such as outsourcing of defence services to foreign entities.
Piotr regularly publishes articles on legal aspects of defence industry, aviation law and IP-related matters. He is also a speaker at the Civil Aviation Safety Conference organised by ULC.
