Paul is particularly experienced in handling fraud-related cases. He represents both claimants and defendants in fast and multi-track trials, disposal hearings, and case-management conferences, and also undertakes clinical negligence, sports, travel/holiday, and animal-related claims.
Paul is adept at drafting pleadings for civil litigation, including particulars of claim, defences, counterclaims, contribution proceedings, and schedules of loss, often under tight deadlines. He provides written and conference advice on liability, causation, quantum, prospects of success, evidence, tactics, and procedure.
In employment law, Paul acts for both claimants and respondents in tribunals and county courts, covering unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, equal pay, unlawful deduction from wages, worker status, redundancy, minimum wage, and breach of contract.
Paul also handles commercial and property disputes, is an accredited mediator (CEDR, ADR Group), and holds an Advanced Certificate of Arbitration. He is skilled in costs management and has a keen interest in housing litigation, representing landlords and tenants at all stages.
