Nominated as one of Canadian Lawyer’s Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers in 2023 (Change Maker & In-House categories) and the recipient of Crawford & Company’s National Leader of Entrepreneurial Spirit award in 2019, Mini is widely respected for her thought leadership and innovative legal approach.Before joining DWF, she served as Vice President of Legal Services at Crawford & Company, providing executive legal oversight, managing complex litigation, and leading national risk initiatives. She also spent nearly a decade as a defence litigator at Hughes Amys LLP, focusing on high-stakes insurance matters and mentoring emerging legal talent.
Mini is a Board Director with Friends of the Industry Healing Together (FIHT) and Board Advisor to PainWorth. She is a speaker on topics such as risk management, dispute resolution, and insurance related issues. She is deeply committed to advancing board governance, diversity, inclusion, and innovation in the legal profession.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School and is called to the Bar in Ontario. She further completed certificates in Executive Board Governance through the Ted Rogers School of Management and Regulatory Compliance & Legal Risk Management through Osgoode Professional Development.
Outside of work, Mini loves shark diving, travelling and learning new activities such as tennis, skiing, boxing.
