The transaction involved the acquisition of Metra from its German parent group. DWF provided comprehensive legal support to Hypax across the corporate, financing and real estate aspects of the deal, including transaction structuring, negotiation of transaction documents.
The deal is notable for its cross-border carve-out complexity, reflecting the continued momentum in private equity-led carve-outs targeting high-quality, non-core assets in sectors supported by strong structural growth trends.
