DWF advises on technology provider's multi-million pound flotation

20 June 2018
International legal business DWF has acted for the sole global coordinator and nominated adviser to the £65m IPO of leading technology provider Tekmar Group plc.
Corporate partner Lisa Stavropoulos led the DWF team on the deal alongside solicitor Ciara Healy, advising Berenberg as the sole global coordinator and Grant Thornton as nominated adviser to Tekmar.

Tekmar, a market-leading technology provider of protection systems for subsea cable, umbilical and flexible pipe protection systems, began trading on AIM on Wednesday with a fundraising of £61.3m.

The £65m IPO will enable Tekmar to further expand the business as it enters its next stage of growth.

Lisa Stavropoulos said: "We're delighted to be a part of Tekmar's business growth and to have advised Berenberg and Grant Thornton on this high profile transaction. This deal demonstrates our extensive ECM expertise and energy and industrials sector knowledge."

DWF's corporate team acts for high profile clients across a range of sectors including recently advising multinational technology outsourcer Equiniti on its acquisition of specialist shareholder engagement company Boudicca Proxy Limited and advising the management team of Kindertons on the sale of the business to ExamWorks, a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners, from Sovereign Capital Partners.
