Women in Construction: Building wellness together

15 January 2026

On Tuesday 13 January, we kicked off the new year with an exclusive yoga session at our recently refurbished London office. Inspiring women from across the construction sector came together to focus on their mindfulness, wellbeing, and connection.

The session wasn’t just about yoga – it was about creating space for networking, sharing experiences, and learning more about each other in a supportive environment.

In a traditionally male-dominated industry, events like these are vital. They provide an opportunity for women to connect, empower one another, and build a sense of community.

Yolanda Walker, Partner and Head of Construction Disputes UK and Ireland said: "The Women in Construction yoga session was a brilliant reminder of how powerful it is when we step away from the day‑to‑day and create space for connection, wellbeing, and community. The energy in the room was inspiring, and it was fantastic to see so many women across our industry starting their morning with positivity and strength. We can’t wait for the next event – come join us and feel the difference for yourself.

Arwen Sinden, Commercial Executive at AET Flexible Space commented: “The event was a fantastic way to start the day – combining yoga with networking created a relaxed, supportive and safe space for women in construction. It was run by a great group of people, the attendees were amazing, and the views over London made it even more special. It was a brilliant conversation starter and a valuable opportunity to connect with like-minded women in the industry.”

We’re committed to continuing the Women in Construction series, with more events designed to inspire, connect, and celebrate the incredible women shaping the future of our industry. Look out for future events!
