As part of its World Menopause Day celebrations the DWF's Menopause Network hosted an insightful webinar exploring the topic of Fasting and the Menopause. The session focused on the health benefits of fasting and how what we eat can impact health during menopause.
The event, chaired by DWF Partner and Senior Lead of our Menopause Group - Jewels Chamberlain, featured a presentation from Liesl Viljoen, a Health Coach specialising in holistic health transformation.
DWF Costs Barrister Gill Lines also joined the discussion to share details of her personal experiences.
Of the webinar Jewels Chamberlain said 'A common theme discussed in our DWF Menopause Group over the years is the effect of hormone changes on women’s bodies and how nutrition, exercise, supplements and mindfulness all play a role as we move through stages. Todays session was extremely informative in understanding further the benefits of being able to influence one’s hormonal shift, to enable women to feel healthier, comfortable and confident in these changing times.'
