Experience
Claire's background is in both contentious and non-contentious regulatory matters and she acts for clients in a variety of sectors including retail, transport, healthcare, energy and financial services.
Claire has been involved in a range of cases from investigation through to enforcement stage, including health and safety, food safety, environmental, trading standards and financial services.
Her experience includes defending clients following fatalities and other workplace accidents, advising clients following environmental issues such as oil spillages and working on a Financial Conduct Authority regulatory review.
Claire has broad experience of crisis management and regularly delivers training on this and a range of related topics. Through this work I have represented clients in a number of high profile investigations including public inquiries and litigation, both in the UK and internationally. She has recently undertaken a three-month client secondment, during which she gained valuable insight into regulatory investigations from a client's perspective.
Outside of work Claire is a Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Reserve, based at HMS President.
