DWF strengthens team in Belfast with 16 new team members

DWF, the global provider of integrated legal and business services, has welcomed ten new legal professionals and will soon add six newly qualified solicitors to its team in Belfast.

DWF has recently recruited Alan Bissett as a consultant in the regulatory team, Nick Nolan as a senior associate in the real estate team and Stephen McGuigan as an associate and Lauren Hamilton as a solicitor in the Construction team. 

Associate Charlene Mullin and solicitor Andy Lungley have joined the business' CAT PI team and the business' motor and fraud team welcomed associates Claire Flynn and Catherine Ashbury, and solicitors Aaron Steele and Catherine Crawford. 

The new hires enhance DWF’s capabilities across key sectors, including Energy, Real Estate, Construction, Dispute Resolution, and Insurance. 

After successfully completing their training contracts at DWF, six former trainees are set to join the global legal business in Belfast as newly qualified solicitors. The new solicitors are Michelle Watson in Healthcare, Kate Cafferkey and Claire Jewsbury in Motor & Fraud, Sara Cooling and Olivia Devine in Catastrophic Personal Injury (CAT PI) and Kaitlin Stewart in Dispute Resolution.

The new additions follow Louise Trimble’s recent nomination in the Trailblazer award category for the 2024 Women in Insurance awards which recognises her contributions to the business' thriving insurance practice.
