With more than 17 years’ experience, Victoria advises leading insurers and reinsurers on complex, high-value and international claims and coverage disputes across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia-Pacific. Her practice spans major property and business interruption losses, political risks, energy and construction claims, as well as contentious coverage and reinsurance matters.Victoria brings a distinctive international perspective to complex claims, combining deep technical expertise with extensive experience of working across multiple jurisdictions, markets and legal systems. She is particularly experienced in managing strategically significant claims where there are substantial financial, operational or reputational considerations for insurers and reinsurers.
Victoria qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2010 and began her career in London, spending 10 years advising major London Market insurers and reinsurers on complex and large-loss claims and coverage disputes. Her work during this period provided a strong foundation in the international insurance market and in handling sophisticated, multi-party and multi-jurisdictional disputes.
In 2020, Victoria relocated to the Middle East, where she established and expanded her practice, bringing a London Market approach to clients across the Middle East. Her expertise and international experience were recognised in 2022 when she was named an ‘Up and Coming Insurance Partner for the UAE’ by Chambers and Partners. She was described as a “very knowledgeable and respected lawyer with a significant amount of international experience.” Victoria is ranked by both Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500 for her Middle East insurance practice.
After six years in the Middle East, Victoria has joined DWF’s Australian practice, where she brings her extensive international experience and established relationships across the global insurance market. Her arrival further strengthens DWF’s ability to support insurers and reinsurers on complex cross-border claims and coverage issues, connecting Australian clients with expertise across DWF’s international network.
Her international practice enables Victoria to provide clients with a commercially focused, market-informed approach to complex claims, helping insurers and reinsurers navigate significant losses, protect their position and achieve effective outcomes
