Rebecca has a proven track record in successfully handling complex catastrophic injury claims valued up to £30 million, with expertise in brain injuries, both subtle and severe, complex spinal injuries, arm and leg amputee cases, brachial plexus injuries, multiple orthopaedic injuries, chronic pain cases, claims involving Functional neurological disorder and Fundamental dishonesty, she has also dealt with some complicated fatality cases. She handles cases from cradle to grave, often being involved in early investigations within days of the accident occurring. She deals with all claims from RTA, EL and PL cases. Widely respected for technical excellence, strategic thinking, and ability to deliver fair, high-value outcomes.
In addition to the high value often challenging RTA claims she has also dealt with clams for HUD following e-coli infection in a child, a TBI case complicated by the co defendants insurers based in Liechtenstein going into liquidation, a complicated liability claim involving 4 defendants surrounding an injury for an alleged failure in the Tilt and Rise system of a wheelchair seat. She has successfully pursed a number of contribution claims one involving a German Crane manufacturer under the European Machinery Directive and Consumer Protection Act 1987 in the Mercantile court together with claims involving complicated indemnity issues.
