Jonathan specialises in Insolvency/Financial Restructuring, Commercial Litigation, Property / Real Estate and Professional Negligence. Jonathan is also experienced in Personal Injury / Fraud claims.
Recent work includes:
- Acting for the guarantor of a £2.5m facility to defend a claim on the guarantee on the grounds of misrepresentation;
- Advising a lender on the validity of the appointment of receivers and the possibility of subrogation to earlier charges, with some £4.5m of lending on a luxury-home build in issue;
- Appearing in 5-day trial for the landlord on a leasehold damage and disrepair claim;
- Advising and drafting statements of case on a £3m negligence claim against a patent attorney for causing its client to fall into breach of a pre-existing contractual obligation;
