Calum began his career as a compensation specialist with one of the top personal injury firms in Scotland. In that role, as well as acting in a variety of family-related civil disputes and securing significant damages settlements for his clients; he assisted in the preparation, conduct and settlement of, the highest value, part-run, jury trial of the time in Scotland.Calum is now a specialist in defending liability claims and has represented a variety of large insurers, self-insured companies, local and central government bodies in that capacity in a career spanning over 20 years. He has acted for clients in a diverse range of civil disputes since qualifying in 2005.
Calum has extensive expertise handling high value claims. He is experienced in all types of workplace accident and has a background in dealing with sensitive claims involving non-recent abuse and workplace bullying/harassment; along with historic cases involving exposure to harmful materials.
Calum is accredited by the Scottish law society as an expert in personal injury claims.
