The course is designed for those involved in engineering and construction projects using the NEC form of contract. It is suitable for both public and private sector organisations, and is relevant for all professionals involved in NEC projects, from the employer side, consultancy practices, contractors, sub-contractors and those involved in the supply chain.
Tailored specifically to be inclusive of all practices and experience levels, the course will lead delegates through the basics of contract law, the law of tort and NEC3/4 Contract Management. If you are involved, or are looking to get involved, in any NEC projects, this course is essential.
The course follows the syllabus from the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and prepares delegates to sit the ICE Law and Contract Management Exams (Module 1 and Module 2 in June 2023). Successfully passing both exams provides delegates with the Certificate in Law and Contract Management, and allows students to the use the post-nominal CLCM.
