Tracey is a deeply experienced trusted advisor who works with clients to design, develop and implement sustainable business practices across their business. As the head of the DWF ESG & Sustainability advisory practice, Tracey advises on business ethics, compliance, regulation, corporate governance and culture.

Experience


Tracey was at PwC for over 25 years as a management consultant. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and certified organisational development practitioner. As a PwC senior partner, Tracey led the Corporate Governance, Ethics and Compliance client advisory practice for the UK firm. 

In 2017 she founded Intelligent Ethics, an award-winning independent consultancy specialising in business integrity, diversity, equity and inclusion, and ethical conduct.  Tracey is an External Panel Advisory Member of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), where she advises on Corporate Conduct and Culture, and a Visiting Fellow on Business Ethics at the University of Leeds. 

Recent awards include: ESG ‘Power Player’ by Financier Worldwide Magazine 2023, Top Consultant 2022 for Excellence in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Management Consulting and Top 100 FT Executive Champion of Women in Business 2019, 2018.

Tracey has become an expert in the corporate sustainability field and has a passion for helping businesses and leaders to develop strategic responses to all commitments. As such, she is well-versed in the new Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D).

  • Advising Boards and Senior Leaders to develop measurable and evidence-based approaches to creating ethical, inclusive and robust cultures that are risk-based, human-centred and strategy focused. She uses values-based behaviours, culture, purpose and corporate integrity as critical levers for change, embracing environmental, social and governance risk factors (ESG), and placing people and inclusion at the heart of a sustainable business.
