Marco has successfully advised leading domestic and international clients operating in key sectors such as energy, oil & gas, telecommunications, luxury, fashion, design, life sciences, pharmaceuticals and food, in both contentious and non-contentious matters.
He has managed and coordinated numerous cross-border actions relating to industrial law and intellectual property matters. Marco regularly assists clients with the management of their trademark, patent, design and model portfolios, from the filing and registration phase through to proceedings before administrative authorities and/or the competent courts.He is ranked Band 5 in the Chambers and Partners Global and Europe guides and was awarded “Lawyer of the Year IP Energy” at the IP & ITM Legalcommunity Awards 2025 and “Lawyer of the Year Design” at Legalcommunity IP&TMT Awards 2026.

Recent Cases
- Assistance to Eni S.p.A. in a complex merits proceeding, as well as in parallel preliminary injunction proceedings against the Spanish company Pauleon S.L.. The engagement concerned the protection of several trademarks owned by Eni in the context of infringement claims, including both damages actions and requests for injunctive relief aimed at promptly preventing unlawful conduct.
- Assistance to Saes Getters Group, a leading company operating in the semiconductor, medical devices, food and aerospace sectors and owner of a substantial patent portfolio, in the management of a wide range of patent-related matters. The work included the drafting and negotiation of several licence and agency agreements with third parties concerning, among other things, the use and exploitation of the group's patents and patent applications across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assistance to Free To X-Mobilize S.p.A., a company active in the high-power electric vehicle charging sector and recently involved in a strategic partnership with Renault Group's mobility division, on a broad range of intellectual property and advertising matters. The engagement included the drafting and negotiation of complex agreements, the preparation of legal opinions, ongoing advice on IP rights, and support in pre-litigation and litigation matters relating to intellectual property protection and advertising regulations.
