Her experience includes sales, acquisitions and mergers, TUPE transfers, outsourcing, contracts of employment, redundancy aspects, documentation, communications, discretionary decisions and processes, governance, pension disputes, auto-enrolment and working with pension professionals.June has been accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in pension law since 1998 and she has also served as Chair of the Scottish Group of the Association of Pension Lawyers. She is a regular contributor and speaker on pension law topics.
June has been Director of Moat Pensions Limited since 1991, which provides independent trustee pension services to schemes of all sizes, dealing with all the challenges facing schemes, working with many co-trustees and sponsoring employers as well as different advisers.
The added dimension of being a trustee means she has direct experience of commissioning clear and sensible legal advice. Having knowledge of pensions issues as both an adviser and a client means that she really understands the practical application of pension law and the challenges that this may bring and the need to make good decisions.
Her clients span a wide range of situations and sectors, including education, technology, food, public sector, professions and charities.
