Giorgio Manca

Giorgio is an employment lawyer focusing his practice on the management of the human resources and of the industrial relations.

Giorgio is cited by Chambers & Partners, Legal500 and Milano Finanza as one of the best Italian lawyers specialised in labour law. 

He has gained significant experience in negotiating trade union agreements within complex corporate restructuring processes. In recent years, he has assisted leading Italian and international companies in the management of trade union information and consultation procedures in the context of collective redundancies and business transfers. He has extensive experience in labour law litigation, including commercial agency contracts.

He is a permanent lecturer at the Business School of Il Sole 24 Ore, where he teaches labour law and trade union relations in the HR Master's Course, in the Labour Law Master's Course and in the Executive Strategic HR Management Master's Course.

He has been Assistant Professor of Labour Law at the University of Insubria (Como and Varese) and Adjunct Professor at the School of Specialisation of the same University.

He collaborates with Alley Oop - Il Sole 24 Ore 

Giorgio furthered his studies in labour law at the Scuola di Alta Formazione dell'Associazione Giuslavoristi Italiani.

He graduated with honours in labour law from Luiss Guido Carli in Rome.

He is the author of several publications on labour law and trade union law. 

In 2019, he was named 'Emerging Lawyer of the Year' at the Legalcommunity Awards. In 2022, he was awarded 'Lawyer of the Year for Agency Contracts' at the same event.

Prior to joining DWF LLP, he worked for several years with Norton Rose Fulbright and Toffoletto De Luca Tamajo.
