DWF advises TFG Group on Hilton Canopy development in Warsaw

DWF, the global provider of integrated legal and business services, has provided comprehensive legal advisory services to TFG Group on the development of Poland's first Canopy by Hilton hotel, marking a significant milestone in the Polish hospitality market.

Canopy by Hilton Warsaw, the first lifestyle hotel of the Hilton chain in Poland, is to open in mid-2026 in the centre of the city. The new 170-room hotel will be located in the heart of the city at 50/52 Wilcza Street, on the site of the former Wilcza House, blending modern design with the historic character of its surroundings.

The advisory services covered the structuring of the investment, legal aspects of the administrative proceedings, the design and construction phases and the financing of the project.

The DWF team was led by Joanna Wojnarowska, Global Deputy Head of Real Estate at DWF and Head of Real Estate at DWF in Poland. The advisory team also included Małgorzata Lesiak-Ćwikowska, Local Partner, Paweł Białobok, Counsel, Ewa Lewandowska, Senior Associate and Patrycja Strycharek, Junior Associate from Real Estate Department. The tax aspects of the project were advised by Adrian Jonca, Partner and Katarzyna Stec, Counsel. Partner, Tomasz Kaczmarek advised on the financing aspects.
