Emma has a diverse practice working in the Higher Education sector handling the constantly evolving risks Universities face. Her expertise is in managing sensitive occupational stress claims, including those conducted in the employment tribunal, sports injury claims and Human Rights Act claims and in large loss and catastrophic injury arising from construction site accidents including brain injury and traumatic amputation cases, spinal injury and cauda equina as well as claims involving FND, fibromyalgia and chronic pain. Emma has a significant fatal accident and Inquest practice (including Article 2).
Emma is also happy handling esoteric insurance claims from exploding agricultural equipment to allergic reactions caused by food intolerance in the hotel industry, from contractual disputes for potato seed merchants to noise nuisance and complex recoveries.

Emma represents one of the IP on behalf of Insurers at the Inquests in to the deaths of the Reading Forbury Gardens terror-attack victims before the Judge Coroner Rt Hon Sir Adrian Fulford PC KC heard at the Old Bailey in January and February 2024.
