DWF's Poland team was led on this deal by Partners - Bartosz Romanowski and Tomasz Grygorczuk, with support from Beata Balas-Noszczyk.
mBank announced that the decision was taken following a tender procedure. The agreement relates to an offer for mBank retail customers and those of mLeasing, one of the key businesses in the mBank Group. The agreement provides for further development of standalone insurance products and those supporting sustainable development for corporate segment customers, including on-going investment in digital processes.
The agreement also involves developing cooperation between UNIQA, mLeasing and its insurance agent, Asekum.
mBank informed that UNIQA and mBank have in recent years developed the fastest growing bancassurance model on the Polish market. As part of this strategic partnership, UNIQA's insurance products are available across all of mBank's sales channels, including digital, both as additional services and as standalone products. The product range is developed jointly by mBank, mLeasing and UNIQA.
The new agreement, as outlined by mBank, states that mBank and UNIQA will see their portfolio in the bancassurance channel more than double in size over the next twelve years.
Congratulations to all parties involved in this exciting deal, and we wish you all the best in your future cooperation!
