Michał advises cross-sector clients on regulatory and contractual matters under energy and environmental law. His work includes supporting energy-sector transactions, addressing regulatory requirements relevant to project development and assisting clients in assessing environmental compliance obligations. He has negotiated and drafted physical and virtual power purchase agreements (PPAs) and carried out due diligence relating to renewable energy projects and to companies whose operations are subject to environmental and permitting regulations.
Michał has been involved in preparing and interpreting draft legislation concerning the biogas and biomethane sector and has been active in Poland’s leading biomethane industry organisation since the beginning of his career. He has also advised clients on issues related to offshore wind permitting and on a broad range of regulatory matters, including renewable energy, nuclear and waste regulations. His experience further extends to representing clients in administrative and court proceedings concerning environmental compliance.
