Experience
Janet has advised major defence insurance companies in landmark cases up to and including Supreme Court jurisdiction. She works on behalf of leading global insurers and medical defence organisations in defending high value, complex clinical claims. She also provides strategic risk management advice to her clients and their members.
She has also acted, on behalf of her Defence clients, before the Fitness to Practice Committee of the Medical Council. She has further represented the Mental Health Commission.
In addition, Janet has invaluable experience in acting on behalf of The General Solicitor of Ireland for Minors and wards of Court in her work representing Wards of Court throughout the jurisdiction.
Janet has extensive experience at Fatal Inquests in both the preparation of submissions but also oral advocacy at such Inquests.
