Experience
She started her career advising patients, which now informs her work in the defence of claims. She has particular expertise in claims arising from the provision of ophthalmic care, delayed treatment of cauda equina, late diagnosis of cancer, medication errors, antenatal care and aesthetic treatment claims. Her advocacy experience includes representing clients before the Master and the Senior King's Bench Judge, undertaking settlement discussions and participating in mediations.
In addition to her defence work, Anna provides training to medical and legal professionals on healthcare claims. Anna is an active member of the NI Clinical Negligence Practitioners Group and has delivered training on Informed Consent to her peers at the Clinical Negligence Conference. She has also provided training to Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeons and First Year doctors.
Anna’s thorough, personable and committed approach is evident from her strong track record. She was recently described by an institutional client as a "clear leader in the field". Anna joined the healthcare team in DWF in 2024.
