Adrian is an expert in personal injury insurance defence litigation and product liability claims. With a focus on large loss claims, Adrian predominantly deals with High Court litigation, in particular claims involving the construction and equestrian sectors. Having clients based across a wide range of jurisdictions, Adrian will also be working closely with colleagues located in DWF's other international offices.
With the Irish insurance market currently facing challenges of increased competition and an ever-increasing drive to do more for less, legal businesses must become increasingly innovative with their services, and Adrian brings expertise in using MI and data analytics to drive enhanced performance for insurers. He will work closely with DWF's Connected Services division on offering a diversified service to clients that incorporates a broad range of tech-enabled services.
Ross Little, Executive Partner at DWF Dublin, said: "Adrian will be a real asset to the Dublin office with his in depth knowledge of both the local and international claims markets. His expertise in the insurance market will help the practice continue growing across Ireland. I look forward to Adrian joining and helping to strengthen our insurance offering."
Adrian Flynn added: "DWF provides a solid platform on which to expand its offering for local clients with its strong international links, providing more services and, with the existing insurance team in Dublin, helping to grow its claims practice. Now is the perfect time to disrupt the market and deliver more innovative services for clients, enabling DWF Dublin to continue to make sizeable inroads into the market."
In the last year, DWF Dublin has increased its client base by 50 per cent and now employs more than 50 people. With a strong focus on real estate, dispute resolution, corporate, insurance, financial services, and infrastructure, the business has a long-term strategy of evolving its team in the Irish market.
