DWF strengthens technology practice with strategic partner appointment

DWF has appointed Ben McLeod as a partner to its technology, media and telecoms sector team, where he will leverage the business's existing national practice to establish a centre of technology excellence in Birmingham.

Legal business DWF has appointed Ben McLeod as a partner to its technology, media and telecoms sector team, where he will leverage the business's existing national practice to establish a centre of technology excellence in Birmingham. Ben joins from Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP.

Ben specialises in the drafting and negotiation of contracts with a focus on technology, including the provision and outsourcing of business critical IT services.  He has a particular expertise in advising both clients and suppliers on complex cloud computer arrangements and enjoys helping clients to realise business outcomes through transformation.

With his experience in advising a range of high-profile national and multinational clients and sector-focused expertise, Ben will play a key role in the continued development of DWF's commercial practice and TMT sector capability.
