Tunde Adebayo

Tunde Adebayo is a Manager within DWF’s Regulatory Consulting practice. He is a strong generalist across Risk and Regulatory Compliance, with subject matter expertise within Financial Crime Compliance.

Experience


Tunde has broad range of experience advising and supporting firms across the financial services sector with Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance matters. Tunde joined DWF Regulatory Consulting team in 2022, from a Financial Crime consulting firm where he worked with investment banking and investment management clients.

Tunde has also held in-house Compliance roles at two global investment banks as a Financial Crime Internal Auditor and Financial Crime Analyst. Within these roles, Tunde:

  • supported planning and execution of several audit projects on Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Bribery, Whistleblowing and Sanctions.
  • acted as project manager for remediation of AML BaFin order;
  • supported with remediation of skilled person findings;
  • conducted Financial Crime risk assessment;
  • acted as change lead for Financial Crime transformation and remediation project;
  • planned and executed control testing reviews.

Since joining DWF, Tunde has led and delivered various client engagements across numerous regulatory topics, including Regulatory Due Diligence, COBS 9 Suitability, Financial Crime remediation, Market Abuse, Credit Broking, Product Governance, Corporate Governance, Consumer Duty, Overseas Persons Exemption, Regulatory Training, and Payment Services Regulation. 

Tunde holds a Masters in Law and Finance, Bachelors in Accounting and Finance, CISI Level 6 Diploma in Investment Compliance and CFA UK Level 4 Investment Management Certificate.
