Experience
Nicola's strategic focus is on all things costs related from low value motor claims through to multi million pound actions. She works closely with clients and her DWF colleagues in the wider business on strategies connected to costs and reform.
Nicola brings extensive management experience and expertise having previously been on the board at her previous firm and where she had established and headed up their costs department.
Nicola works closely with the insurance industry and sits on the Civil Justice Council and has chaired of 2 working groups culminating in reports supporting change in travel sickness and low value injury personal injury claims. She is also a member of the CJC working group looking at the pre-action protocols. She works closely with the CPRC, CJC and MIB on whiplash reforms being a member of the CPRC sub-committee whiplash working group. Nicola sits on the FOIL Costs SFT and is also treasurer of the FOIL National Executive Committee.
She regularly provides training and strategic advice to clients.
