Experience
David has substantial experience acting for a wide range of occupiers, developers, funders and investors, as well as a period working as an in-house lawyer. There are probably few scenarios in real estate which David hasn't dealt with during his career. His current client portfolio largely focuses on the retail and leisure sector, acting for a variety of well-known High Street names, as well as some of their landlords and funders.
David has been based in our Edinburgh office since 2015, but in the past spent several years working from our Glasgow office.
He enjoys providing pragmatic and innovative solutions for clients, such as the suite of "plain English" documents he prepared for a public sector landlord.
When not working he winds down by running long distances, including completing the Munich marathon in 2017 with DWF colleagues from our Scottish, English and German offices.
