DWF reappointed to Homes England Legal Services Framework

29 October 2026

DWF has been reappointed to Homes England's Legal Services Framework, retaining its position on Lot 1: Real Estate & Investment and securing a new appointment to Lot 2: Corporate Legal Services.

DWF was one of only a limited number of firms appointed to both lots, reinforcing its position as a trusted legal adviser to Homes England and the wider public sector. Building on a longstanding relationship with Homes England, DWF will continue to support the agency on complex real estate and investment matters while expanding its role to provide corporate and banking legal services and support on strategic transactions and joint ventures.

Homes England is the Government's housing and regeneration agency and an executive non-departmental public body sponsored by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. Working with partners across the country, it plays a pivotal role in accelerating housebuilding, unlocking regeneration opportunities and supporting the delivery of affordable, quality homes in thriving communities.

Lee Pickett, Partner and Head of Regeneration, Development, Planning and Infrastructure at DWF, said:

"We are delighted to have been reappointed to Homes England's Legal Services Framework and particularly pleased to have expanded our appointment to include Corporate Legal Services.

Retaining our position on the Real Estate & Investment lot reflects the strength of our longstanding relationship and the quality of support our teams have consistently delivered. Our appointment to the Corporate Legal Services lot is an important milestone, enabling us to bring an even broader range of expertise to support Homes England's ambitious housing, investment and regeneration objectives.

We look forward to continuing our collaborative relationship over the next four years and helping to deliver positive outcomes for communities across the country."

Jonathan Branton, Head of Government & Public Sector at DWF, added:

"This appointment is a fantastic endorsement of DWF's trusted relationship with Homes England and our wider commitment to supporting the public sector.

Being appointed to both lots strengthens the breadth of support we can provide, bringing together deep sector insight with specialist expertise from across our business. Homes England plays a vital role in delivering economic growth, regeneration and housing across the UK, and we are proud to continue supporting that mission."

The new Legal Services Framework will commence in November 2026 and run for four years. DWF's expanded appointment comes as Homes England embarks on an ambitious period of housing and regeneration delivery, with its 2025–2030 Strategic Plan setting out an expectation to support the delivery of approximately 280,000 new homes and unlock land capable of supporting almost 400,000 homes.
