The framework provides central government and other public sector organisations with access to high-quality legal advice. DWF continues as a supplier to this panel, having first been appointed in 2021.
Under Lot 1: Core Legal Services, DWF will deliver legal expertise across a wide range of practice areas, including commercial contracts, grant funding, dispute resolution and litigation, public procurement, real estate and corporate finance.
These services will be available to central government departments, arm’s length bodies and a wide variety of other public sector organisations.
Jonathan Branton, Partner and Head of Government and Public Sector at DWF, said: “We are delighted to have been renamed as a supplier on CCS’s Legal Panel for Government under Lot 1 – Legal Services. Government and Public Sector is a DWF strategic priority sector and this appointment strengthens our position as a core supplier to UK Central Government, which underpins that sector strategy. This appointment specifically enables us to continue to further strengthen our support to UK Government departments and other public sector organisations with complex and high-value legal matters, and reflects our depth of experience in advising on a broad range of significant issues affecting the public sector.”
Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.
