DWF in Poland has established the German Desk, an interdisciplinary team of experienced lawyers and tax advisors from Germany and Poland, who will advise in all relevant areas concerning the activities of investors and companies from German-speaking countries, as well as support in the expansion of Polish companies in DACH countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
The German Desk team will be led by Adrian Jonca (Partner and Head of the Tax team in Poland), and assisted by Bartosz Ostrowski (Senior Associate in Real Estate), Ewelina Madej (Senior Associate in Intellectual Property), and Maciej Gorgol (Senior Associate in Real Estate).
All members of the German Desk have extensive experience in advising international companies, including investors from the German-speaking region, in a number of important areas, including corporate law, tax, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, insurance, energy, transport, and technology, amongst others.
The German Desk team will work closely with the DWF team in Germany, led by Olivier Bolthausen, Managing Partner.
Germany has been Poland's largest trade partner for decades and for several years has seen not only the increasing presence of German investments in Poland, but also the growing trend of Polish companies developing their business activities in Germany.
