Webinar recording: Delivering social value through Procurement

Director James Lupton was joined by Alex Eaton, Associate, and Claira Rodden, Solicitor, to co-host a webinar exploring how social value can be effectively delivered through public procurement.

The session examined the meaning of social value, the Cabinet Office’s consultation on growing British industry, jobs and skills, and provided practical advice on how contracting authorities can incentivise suppliers to prioritise meaningful Social Value commitments in tenders. It also covered approaches for embedding Social Value during preliminary market engagement, evaluating it via award criteria, and managing it throughout the life cycle of a public contract.
