What a week it was for the DWF Regulatory, Compliance and Investigations (RCI) team in Leeds. After the Legal 500 rankings were announced on Wednesday, recognising the team as Tier 1 for health and safety in the Yorkshire and Humber region, Thusday evening saw them scoop up the Regulatory Team of the Year award at the prestigious Yorkshire Legal Awards. The judges commented that the team was a 'stand-out to the judges as it provided the best possible service to clients'.
Mark Thompson, Director and Head of the Leeds RCI team commented "I am incredibly proud of this team and what it has achieved since I became head just over a year ago. The team has reached new levels of growth and it is very encouraging to see that the team is achieving new success and being recognised for the excellent work it delivers".

ESG is becoming an increased area of focus for many businesses, and this was demonstrated by the Yorkshire Legal Awards adding a new prestigious category of 'Best ESG Campaign' in 2023. The judges recognised that DWF has 'groundbreaking future aims already in place for ESG and is not slowing down any time soon in this area'.
