Experience
Patrick joined the firm as an Associate in May 2023, after working as a summer student in 2021 and returning to complete his articles in 2022. He has a general practice with a growing interest in commercial litigation, construction, and property and recovery, while also developing a practice in general insurance litigation.
Patrick takes a pragmatic and client-centric approach to problem solving. He strives to identify solutions early in the litigation. Where this is not practical, Patrick is known for this competitive drive and tireless work ethic to achieve the best result for his client. He has appeared on behalf of clients in matters before the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia.
While attending law school, Patrick spent a semester in the TRU Legal Clinic, and volunteered with Pro bono Students Canada, where he worked with low-income individuals to assist with their legal needs. Before joining DWF, Patrick spent a summer working at a criminal law firm in Northern British Columbia, primarily focusing on an appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada.
