Experience
Andrew has been with DWF since Nov 2012 and has over 12 years' experience in counter fraud investigation and litigation. He has worked with a variety of insurer clients throughout that time in identifying and defending opportunistic and organised fraudulent claims.
He has expertise in all elements of counter fraud civil litigation for Motor and EL/PL claims and has experience of private prosecutions and law enforcement liaison. He also regularly secures recovery of sums paid and investigation costs incurred by clients in defending claims in addition to making claims for clients to recover damages and exemplary damages in the tort of deceit.
Andrew also has expertise in managing large scale organised fraud: working closely with national insurers, the IFB, the police and IFED to set and drive strategies for clients to challenge high value claims exposure. His largest cross-industry investigation for a client to date achieved savings of £3 million.
