With 20 years experience Adrian handles personal injury litigation and a broad spectrum of injury types including chronic pain syndrome, somatoform disorder, spinal injuries, head injuries, complicated fractures and psychiatric injuries. Adrian regularly records large fraud savings for clients in cases where the claim is bogus or the extent of the injury or loss is exaggerated.
He has a particular interest in occupier's liability claims arising out of accidents on public and private rights of way and the Gautret v Egerton and McGeown defence and has a very good in depth knowledge on the subject and its nuances which are often overlooked by even experienced litigators and has provided training on this subject to clients.
Adrian adopts a commercial approach to litigation with his focus on getting his clients out of a claim as quickly and as cheaply as possible. Adrian has devised a dual-offer strategy of making Part 36 and time limited offers concurrently where appropriate to put a claimant under maximum pressure to settle. This has proven effective and popular with his clients.
Adrian's heritage once more comes to the fore when he talks about rugby union: he supports Pontypool and Wales. He also enjoys going for country walks and visiting historical sites. But, if it's raining he prefers to read about history and the Classics.
