The UK’s largest hotel business has acquired the former HQ building as part of its commitment to expanding its hotel brands in the popular London market.
Set over eight storeys and comprising 47,500 sq. ft, the building which was previously the headquarters of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA) will be converted and adapted into a 150-bedroom hotel.
A multi-disciplinary team of lawyers supported the client, led by Paul Inman and Katherine Carey, partners in DWF’s Real Estate team.
Melanie Williams, Global Head of Real Estate at DWF said, “hub by Premier Inn has been an enormous success story for Whitbread, and we are delighted to help enable their growth plans once again, by advising on another key acquisition for the business in Central London.”
