Companies House have recently confirmed a change to its fee structure, with an increase to a variety of services including, UK entity formations and Confirmation Statements (forms "CS01") coming into effect from 1 May 2024.
Our Corporate Secretarial UK team uses Diligent Entities software to manage both ad hoc and compliance based filings at Companies House.
The system provides our clients with reassurances regarding our filing processes, including the prompt payment of any incurred Companies House filing fees.
When making its announcement, Companies House noted that the fee adjustments have been introduced to bring them in line with the costs of providing our services, and to recover the costs of our new powers being introduced through the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act ("ECCTA")'.
You'll recall that we have recently provided guidance with regards to the ECCTA updates, including use of a registered email address, for inclusion on the next CS01 filing being made from 4 March 2024.
*Please be advised that the revised fee information provided relates to use of our Corporate Secretarial software, with the exception of the registration of an overseas entity which can only be filed in hard copy. A full list of the revised fees can be located on the Companies House website, via the following link: https://changestoukcompanylaw.campaign.gov.uk/changes-to-companies-house-fees/
